I agree with all except #2

I just can't be happy about discounting anytime.

If i had to change anything from when i started out, it would be two things.

    1. Dont start under capitalised - sure you can get by, i did, but some days sucked when i ran out of cash

    2. I too sold cheap to break in - discounts are not sustainable, i wish i had charged what i was worth right from the start, not after a time

    Good article though, thanks

Hi!..nice business tips. It can help a lot. And its good article to read to. We are all looking for that one program, idea, concept that will make us the money we are looking for. But if your mind is not ready to "accept" the new idea.... it may just pass you by without you even knowing it. What I'm trying to say is it's important to know just what you are looking for before you go hunting.

I am a consultant to the real estate industry but I am about to launch a training start-up with a twist. I appreciate the tips and I will remember the best advise of all. Play to your strength.

    Thanks!

Yep... it really does start with discovering and leveraging your strengths-both personal and business-to separate yourself from your competition.

A training start-up with a twist in Real Estate? Sounds promising!
